Welcome!

Welcome to the Anki tutorial!

I used Anki heavily throughout medical school (mostly in preclinical, but definitely in clerkship year as well) and found it to be one of the most effective tools for long-term retention. It was my primary vehicle to get information to Step 1 and Step 2 over the course of learning it throughout the year. It widely used at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, and by students around the world.

This tutorial is designed around short keyframe animations and explanations so you can quickly see the steps to use Anki, find the information you need, and get Anki set up without sitting through a long video. My goal was to build a tool you can quickly return to throughout the year, as you need it. For example, you might use the uWorld Quesiton Finder later in the year, or in your clerkship year all togther.

I hope it's helpful. If you have questions, reach out any time!
