Setting Up Sync
AnkiWeb Sync allows you to back up your collection online and keep your cards synchronized across multiple devices. It is strongly recommended, even if you only use Anki on a single computer. I use it to sync my current progress from my computer to my iPhone and vice-versa. Also, it helps to just keep a backup of all my reviews/decks in the cloud.
To set up sync, click the Sync button in the top-right corner of Anki and sign in with your AnkiWeb account. If you do not have an account, you can create one for free on AnkiWeb. After setup, Anki will automatically sync your cards, scheduling information, media, and review history whenever you sync.
Syncing after big changes (like importing a big deck) may take some time to upload to the server!
